Friday 23rd August
Today students enjoyed an outing to the 'Great Life Time Farm'. There will be no set homework tonight.
We also have no classes for Grade 1 students until next Friday 30th August.
Please help your children practice reading over our first 3 stories from Reading Street 1.R.
You may also look over their Reader/s and Writer's Notebook. We should have completed all pages 1-52.
Some students were absent some days and may have missed pages or sections- they may try their best to complete up to p52. Please do NOT allow them to go any further than p52 as we will be completing these activities while learning together as a class.

Thursday 22nd August
Today we continued exploring our new story, working with verbs and completed some activities focusing on I phonics.

SUMMER W2

Friday 16th August
Today we enjoyed a field trip to the Zhonghe Civil sports centre.
There is NO HOMEWORK tonight. You may use the time to revise the vocabulary from W1 and W2 in the communication book or read over our first two stories.
Allow the children to enjoy their weekend and relax. Play time and rest time is important too! :-)


Thursday 15th August
Today in English class we further explored phonics decoding, some simple story comprehension and grammar with nouns.
