Today we worked on er/ir/ur phonics and some sentences with be verbs.

Today students completed their final written exams.

G1 Final Exam Scope, Spring 2020

 

Dear parents,

 

Exams will be held on:

 

l  Oral Exam –   Monday/Tuesday June 22-23, 2020

l  Listening Exam – Wednesday, June 24, 2020

l  Written Exam – Tuesday, June 30, 2020

 

The exams may cover the following: 

 

LISTENING EXAM:

·         Communication Book (Weeks 13-16)

·         The Class Pet (RS 1.3, pages 84-117)

·         Frog and Toad Together (RS 1.3, pages 118-149)

·         Ending blends mp, sk, nk, st, nd

 

ORAL EXAM:   Reading benchmark of an unseen text, based on reading accuracy, fluency and comprehension

 

WRITTEN EXAM: 

Vocabulary Comprehension:  Vocabulary words from weeks 13-16)

 

Story comprehension (understanding of the story):

·         The Class Pet (RS 1.3, pages 84-117)

·         Frog and Toad Together (RS 1.3, pages 118-149)

 

Phonics:

Students may be asked to identify:

  • Plural ending –es
  • R-controlled –or, -ore
  • Added endings –ed and –ing
  • R-controlled -ar
