Thursday October 29th

Today we used vocabulary words and high frequency words to write simple sentences- following modelling from the teacher. We read our story and revised phonics for our test tomorrow. We also explored the science about eating healthy foods.

There are still many students who do not know single letter sounds for the alphabet. This is below the expected standard and so our curriculum does not focus on this. I will spend some class time to help develop the foundations for those who need it, but regular, extra practice at home should help a lot.
