G1 Mid-Term Exam Scope, Spring 2026

 

Dear parents, 

 

Exams will be held on:

 

Listening Exam – Wednesday, 15^th April, 2026

Oral Exam – Thursday and Friday, 16^th and 17^th April 2026

Written Exam – Tuesday, 21^st April 2026

 

The exams may cover the following: 

LISTENING EXAM:

Communication book vocabulary from weeks 3-9

 

ORAL EXAM:    

Students will read a short passage combined from the various decodable stories. Students will answer five questions and should answer in simple sentences.

 

WRITTEN EXAM: 

Vocabulary Comprehension:  Vocabulary words from weeks 3-9

Phonics:

Initial consonant blends, final consonant blends, -ck, -x

Consonant diagraphs th, sh

 

Story comprehension:

The Life of a Frog

The Life Cycle of a Sunflower

Baby Animals Grow
