G1 First Exam Scope, Spring 2020

 

Dear parents,

 

Exams will be held on:

 

l  Listening Exam – Wednesday, March 25^th 2020

l  Oral Exam –   Friday, March 27^th 2020

l  Written Exam – Monday, March 30^th 2020

 

The exams may cover the following: 

 

LISTENING EXAM:

·         Communication Book (Week 1-4)

·         A Big Fish for Max (RS 1.2, pages 16-33)

·         Who Works Here? (RS 1.2, pages 82-95)

 

ORAL EXAM:   Reading benchmark of an unseen text, based on reading accuracy, fluency and comprehension.

 

WRITTEN EXAM: 

Vocabulary Comprehension:  Vocabulary words from weeks 1-4)

 

Story comprehension (understanding of the story):

• A Big Fish for Max (RS 1.2, pages 16-33)
• Who Works Here? (RS 1.2, pages 82-95)

 

Phonics:

Students may be asked to identify:
